Race, Gender and the Media

For this assignment, students were asked to create content that disrupts discourse regarding class, socio-economic status and race in relations to the Eastern Farm Workers Association in Syracuse, NY.

 

Similar to the event posters that Newhouse creates when an accomplished speaker visits Syracuse University to present, for this project I created three event posters for three different Eastern Farm Worker Associations highlighting their accomplishments to promote a potential panel featuring these individuals in the future.

 

On each of these posters, there are QR codes (barcodes) that when scanned, will bring you to this page on my portfolio to read full interview transcripts my group and I conducted with these three individuals.
